Academic report on“Spatial Propagation of Nonlocal Dispersal Equations”
At the invitation of Center for Mathematical Sciences and School of Mathematics and Physics of CUG, Professor Wantong Li from Lanzhou University gave an online talk titled “Spatial Propagation of Nonlocal Dispersal Equations” on Jan 6th, 2021. Teachers and students in School of Mathematics and Physics in related research fields attended this academic colloquium.
In this talk, Prof. Li reported the spatial propagation for nonlocal dispersal equations. It consists of five parts. Prof. Li first presented some relations between local (random) and nonlocal dispersal problems and then Prof. Li reportedtheir recent results on the spatial propagation (traveling waves and entire solutions) of nonlocal dispersal equations. Part III was concerned with acceleration propagation for nonlocal dispersal systems. Part IV was concerned with free boundary problems on nonlocal dispersal equations. In Part IV, Prof. Li listed some problems on nonlocal dispersal equations. The colloquium ended smoothly in a warm atmosphere.
